in memoriam
in memoriam (2015) is a mixed media work which juxtaposes built and found objects, and unrelated photographs. It addresses themes such as ‘the hidden’, ‘fragmented memory’ and the ‘remains of human lives’. The artwork seeks to evoke a sense of both the whimsical and the uncanny, inviting the audience to explore the object and make discoveries. This work, along with other smaller pieces, reflects the artist’s ongoing interest in the areas of emotion, play and narrative.
